My baseball bat collection — game-used, signed by A-Rod, and more!

Want to see the bats that Alex Rodriguez signed for me in exchange for his 3,000th hit baseball? In addition to those, I’ve gotten lots of other bats from MLB players, some of which are signed, game-used, rubbed with pine tar, and cracked.

Here are the blog entries and videos that show how I got them . . .

Cliff Floyd at Shea Stadium in 2006:

Ramon Hernandez at Camden Yards in 2006:

Greg Norton at Citizens Bank Park in 2008:

Austin Jackson at Camden Yards in 2010:

Mike Nickeas at Citi Field in 2011:

Alex Rodriguez at Yankee Stadium in 2015:

Jonathan Villar at AT&T Park in 2016:

Check out my baseball cap collection. I recently did a video on that:

And while you’re at it, show some YouTube love to Todd Cook (the guy who made the bat that I showed at the end) and his sons, Tim and Kellan. Here’s their channel:

Thanks for watching! Leave a comment. Let me know what other videos you want to see and it just might happen . . .

  • Zach Hample I was thirteen when I got my first bat from a team for free. As a matter of fact I still have it from the Coastal Plain League for the Wilson Tobs, which as of 2009 most wins they set the most records and firsts beaten the next year when I batboyed. I went to the Wilson Tobs baseball camp which may have members of the 2015 LLWS 2015 North CarolinaState Championship that lost twice in Warner Robins, Georgia. They're were fans in attendance from 2015 LLWS North Carolina at that and the year after that I harbours the whole season + 1 Road Game, also attending a All Star Game. In 2009 Russell Wilson was a member of the CPL.

  • Me and my little 9-year-old brother were at a minor league game AAA Sacramento VS AAA Aces. Anyways we were in reno trying to get third out balls anyways during the game my brother caught one and a lady took it out of his glove. So I guess the ballboy felt bad for him and gave my brother a game-used bat from Francisco Pena. It had fresh pine tar on it, it was partly cracked by the handle broken awesome bat. Anyways I looked him up to see what position he played because he was a pinch hitter in the game. He was the Giant's backup catcher on injury or something. Anyways my friend and I go to guest services to get a marker, thank you aces guest services. Then we go near the dugout and we see him watching and we ask if he could sign it after the game and he did which was awesome. I also got a third out ball thanks to Chris Shaw for hooking me up. But man that minor league game was so much fun there were fireworks, kids got to run the bases, and just a fun experience. I do think if you want to get something signed to go to minor league games the players will more likely sign there because they don't get as much attention. Also to if you ever have the time and are in the place go to a minor league game.
