On Monday 10 October BAFTA, in partnership with Channel 4 Education, hosted simultaneous workshops (via Skype) in London and Accrington to support the BAFTA Young Game Designers competition.
Students from Hammersmith Academy, The Bridge Academy in Hackney, Accrington Academy, Salford City Academy and Manchester Academy gained an insight into how games are made from Jo Twist of Channel 4, Rob Davis of Playniac, Arthur Parsons of TT Games (makers of the LEGO Harry Potter games) and Jamie Cason of Miniclip.
They also presented their own game ideas back to the experts, and got some valuable tips on their entries to the BAFTA Young Game Designers competition.
